We have worked out some bicycle tours, each of which starts in Putussibau and leads to its surrounding. The tours vary in their distance and, of course, each tour has its own special highlights. For each tour you should schedule a half day or even a full day, even if the actual cycling time might be much less.
Moreover each tour can be extended and you may even combine a cycling tour with an overnightstay in a longhouse.
Before you start a tour, please keep in mind that the climate is quite hot and humid and the sunlight is particularly intense. Therefore you should protect your skin accordingl and take enough drinking water with you. However, each tour passes from time to time small villages, where you can buy water or even some soft drinks.
